Tools.
Four things I built because the work needed them. Two are calculators that run in this page and keep nothing; the third is a desktop application that keeps your files on your own machine; the fourth is an internal tool for reviewing customer contracts, used with your own ChatGPT or Claude account. All of them are free, and none of them ask for an account on this site.
- In the browser Reinforcing steel weightDiameter to kilos per metre, per bar and per tonne, and a tonnage back to a number of bars. Nominal weights, with a note on where the tolerance band sits.
- In the browser Steel section weight182 sizes across IPE, HEA, HEB, UPN, angles, bars and flats, plus pipe and tube from entered dimensions. Computed from each section's own geometry, with the commercial band around the nominal figure.
- Desktop app OpenPDFKitThirteen everyday PDF tools, merge to OCR, running entirely offline on Windows and macOS. Open source, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.
- Internal tool · Sales team Contract Risk CheckerExtracts a customer's contract or PO text in the browser and prepares a ready-to-paste analysis against our standard commercial terms, for your own ChatGPT or Claude account. Arabic interface and report.
The mobile version of the section calculator is an app of its own — support and privacy. Source for everything is on GitHub.
